Intel announced a tiny computer called Quanta that plugs directly into your TV or monitor’s HDMI Port. Here are the proposed specs, photos and more information will be added as they become available.

The Intel Compute Stick NH1 combined with Media software will compete directly with AppleTV, Roku, Android TV and other SmartTV OS platforms.

I’m curious to see if this device can derive it’s power from the HDMI port alone or will always rely on an external power source plugged into the Micro-USB port. ┬áIntel says the computer will come in two version, a Windows 10 powered version for around $149 and a Ubuntu Linux powered version for around $89.
